The article “How the legal services market has changed during the pandemic” has been published on the RBC news portal. Head of legal practice of Emerging Markets Group Olga Vorobyeva also commented on the situation:
“We continued to work on the projects, that we have started before the quarantine, clients are still working. Though it is more difficult to organize everything .The amount of work for lawyers and accountants has not changed, and in proportion to the number of new stories and decrees, but those who wish to pay for this work are becoming less and less.
After the end of quarantine, we expect many requests on labor law services, as there will be a large number of claims from employees who require salaries and compensations. Questions will also arise regarding the timing of liquidations, when the deadlines for accepting creditors' claims fall on non-working days, and as a result, possible challenges to registering liquidations, especially taking into account the permitted moratorium on bankruptcy”
