Emerging Markets Group would like to pay particular attention of its clients and partners that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 09 of May 2017 No 202, the rules of personal migration registration of foreign citizens coming to Russia have been temporary tightened. All foreign citizens who arrived for temporary stay (temporary or permanent residence), are under this Decree, including:
• highly qualified specialists (and members of their families);
• citizens of the EEU member countries;
• foreign citizens, who work on the basis of work permits;
• foreign citizens, who work based on patents.
During the validity of the Decree, registration at the place of residence of foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrived for temporary stay (temporary or permanent residence) is carried out within one day from the date of their arrival at the place of residence on presentation documents provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The shortened deadlines for registration for migration registration during the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, the FIFA World Cup 2018 in the following territories: from June 1 to July 12, 2017 (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan), from 25 May to July 25, 2018 (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saransk)
