Amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation

11 July 2015, the amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation will come into effect, namely the article No. 65 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation has been amended as follows: “At a written request of a person, who was refused in conclusion of an employment agreement, the employer shall provide written explanations on the refuse reasons not later than within 7 working days after the date of presenting the corresponding request”.  The previous wording of the article did not include the clause about the “written” request of an applicant, and the term for presenting a response was not specified.
